Our citizens are suffering for lack of jobs and resources, one in five of our children go hungry, yet we keep expanding our military footprint over the globe to a reported 900 foreign bases when military overextension always comes before the fall. 60 years ago WWII military hero, Conservative, Republican President General Dwight D. Eisenhower cautioned us to “Beware the Military Industrial Complex.”
When we were the largest creditor nation in the world, the wisdom of having reportedly 900 military bases across the planet at our expense was at least debatable. We now borrow 43% of every dollar we spend from China, our major economic competitor.
The myriad dangers of foreign occupation have been recently unveiled.
We beg you to bring our bases home.
