Bi-weekly 'fireside' chats

I petition the white house, ie, the president to have Bi-weekly 'fireside' chats with the people, broadcasted on all major networks during friendly hours so that everyone could hear what is going on in the nation's business. I believe a good time would be Sunday evening just before 'prime time' TV. This should not be just what the president wants, but what is happening in general. What is happening with things in congress and things the white house is pushing for. The address need not be more than 15-30 long, just enough for everyone to get an idea of what our government is and isn't doing so that we don't hear it via bias media.
Doing this would not only let the nation know what is going on, but hold both party's feet to the fire on issues people care about.
