A Bill finally legislating Healthcare for All: A true, single-payer system in the United States

Created by D.M. on October 10, 2012

We spent twice as much as other industrialized nations yet our system performs poorly in comparison and still leaves 50 million without health coverage and millions more inadequately covered. Private insurance and bureaucracy consume 1/3 of every healthcare dollar. Streamlining payment through a single, nonprofit payer would save more than 400 billion per year. Enough to provide comprehensive, high-quality coverage for all Americans. We can do this!
