Gun safety saves lives and prevents accidents and tragedy for all. Gun owners will and must keep their responsibility of ownership by locking or securing unmonitored firearms. This law if violated would be punishable by criminal law, and would suspend a person's concealed weapons permit for a period of time, like a driver's license. This law would be in affect anywhere at any time. Examples are in the public, in a person's home or residence, and when transporting in a vehicle. We must not take these acts of mistakes lightly. A person would receive a misdemeanor of the 1st degree and a fine as our DUI laws are structured. To many kids die from stupidity and negligence.
