Congress has been forcing bad laws to pass that benefit special interest groups at the expense of the people by inserting them into good Bills. This puts the president in the difficult position of either vetoing a predominantly good Bill or passing it and being stuck with a totally unrelated portion that works against the public.
Demand that congress introduce Bills that are topic specific and all portions of it be related and limited in size or else face line item veto.
