Given the far reaching negative financial and social impact of lockouts and strikes as well as the negative impact they have on the respective sports themselves, if the four major sports leagues that operate in the United States (the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, and the National Hockey League) and all Labor-related unions necessary to their operation (Players Associations, Game Officials, etc.) do not have Collective Bargaining Agreements in place no later than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled start of their respective training camps, ALL parties involved will be subject to immediate Binding Arbitration. The decisions of that arbitration to be rendered in no more than 12 days and binding to all parties for the next 2 seasons.
