1) ban all guns w/ large capacity magazines (LCMs), defining LCMs as >10 rounds, though I'd love this to be >3 rounds (problem with latter is would take major overhaul of gun manufacturing so trying to be realistic). Includes assault rifles (ARs) and pistols (APs). Studies on the effects of the 1994 semi automatic ban show an LCM focused ban is significantly more effective than a gun-type ban. 2) stringent importation laws on LCMs. 3) improvements in data collection methodologies related to gun violence in order to effectively test the efficacy of the ban. 4) a long enough time period for the ban that's agreed upon up front. Part of the potential reason the 1994 ban yielded inconclusive results was the ban's duration was too short. 5) No grandfather clauses; all guns w/ LCMs
