Birth Certificate Search. I'm 47 years old and have not obtain a birth certificate at this time. no records of me.

I have search for my birth certificate in New York city and and in Puerto Rico with no result some need to help me I'm frustrated over this matter is like I'm in this world alive but dead at the same time I have done everything in my hands to get my birth certificate but all i get is rejection from all the places search making it more difficult for me to get my birth certificate.
