Block any ammendmant making gun ownership a privilage and not a RIGHT guaranteed by the 2nd ammendmant.

Gun control has been shown to be effective only in arming criminals and disarming law abiding citizens. Gun control takes the ability of self defense away from would be victims and gives a deadly advantage to violent criminals. The second ammendmant is vital not only to the protection of the people from criminals but for the protection of the people from tyrannical government and government agencies. Limiting or eliminating the 2nd ammendmant is in violation of those "certain and inalienable rights" sought after and fought for by our founding fathers. Some say that the spirit of the 2nd ammendmant is outdated and no longer valid or viable in our modern times but criminals continue to prey on the good citizens and governments still attempt to limit the liberties of people even in America
