to block the creation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement and veto any such legislation passed by congress.

Created by D.M. on January 29, 2015

All prominent economists agree the Trans-Pacific Partnership would be a disastrous agreement for the American economy and would place the US at a great disadvantage in trade with the Pacific realm countries. It would also potentially further stagnate US wages and lead to the gap between the riches and poorest Americans to widen even further creating a drastic increase in income and wealth inequality in the US, which would lead to the complete elimination of the American middle class, creating a huge class of a "working poor class" of slave labor comparable to the working class currently in China. It would also lead to an environmental disaster for America, as China or any country that's part of the agreement to be able rewrite US laws regarding safety and environmental protection.
