Block cutting Social Security benefits and utilize unused benefits.

Created by S.T. on September 03, 2013

Many people die after contributing years into Social Security and then die before collecting their benefits. Additionally, many people die after contributing years into their Social Security account, and, sadly, die within the first one to five years of retirement. Couldn't that money be used to increase retirement benefits? Where is that money and what is it used for? A closer look at this would perhaps put to bed the continuous call from certain members of Congress to slash the benefits of people who have contributed and live a long life. Just maybe they might live a better life thanks to the money that is not used as it was intended, but shared as it should be.
