Block the Gay Marriage Ban in Indiana

Created by C.M. on February 06, 2014

HJR-3 is legislation that is currently being voted on in the Indiana State Senate. The legislation, if passed, will add an amendment to the Indiana Constitution that would make gay marriage illegal, and would also revoke all prior benefits received by same sex partners. Gay marriage is already illegal in the state of Indiana, but adding an amendment would make any future changes considerably more difficult. Even if you are against gay marriage, this amendment would block same sex partners. It is unfair, and if you agree please sign this petiton to show your opposition to HJR-3.
