H.R. 1254 will ban unstudied drugs, that may have medical applications (including destroying tumors). It's irresponsible and silly to block research and development of potentially useful medications, just because they are being used in a manner other than ones the manufacturer intended. Following this logic we should ban a plethora of other products misused by humans (glue, paint, gasoline, guns, ropes, knives, pain and other medications, cars, alcohol, aerosol cans, etc., etc., for example). Tell our government representatives to work to fix our economy, instead of wasting more time and tax dollars expanding the failed War on Drugs, in an attempt to distract people from more urgent and serious issues.
