The December 9th, 2014 spending bill included a provision expanding the amount individuals can contribute to political campaigns, further silencing the voice of the middle class.
While there certainly are wealthy Americans, such as Sheldon Adelson, who might find favorability in this provision, they represent a very small percentage of the population. They also have a disproportionately louder voice in Washington thanks to laws such as this one.
The sponsors of this provision have betrayed the trust of a vast majority of their consitients and therefore should not be allowed to continue to represent them.
Please block this provision and begin the impeachment process to remove its sponsors from office.
