I am appealing that there be a order put into place effective immediately to prohibit any consumption, distribution, or sale of alcohol on any school campus across the nation.
I appeal for this order to be presented due to a situation in Lebanon Community School Corporation (in Indiana) where the local school board is considering allowing the consumption and sale of alcohol on the high school campus (though while students are not on the premises). I believe that this is contrary to the lessons we teach our youth. We teach them to abstain from the consumption of substances that can harm their body (alcohol being one of them), from elementary school age with the D.A.R.E. program through high school health education and psychology classes.
