The “Wilderness and Roadless Area Release Act of 2011,” (H.R. 1581 and S.1087) seeks to strip some road less tracts and other Wilderness Study Areas (WSAs) of their current federal protection. The legislation would allow the sale millions of acres of our now-restricted public lands.
