Blood is Blood - Reevaluate FDA's regulations & policies on candidates who can not donate blood.

Created by L.N. on February 18, 2013

Blood is Blood = Saving Life’s
I have created this petition to bring awareness & realization that the FDA has certain policies & restrictions set in place that not all people are allowed to donate blood due to certain health risks involved. I am on a direct mission to get this problem resolved & lifted. Mostly pertains to gay men, foreign citizens that moved here/ US citizens that move or have lived in a foreign country, certain military men & women based over seas. According to the American Red Cross we need 44,000 pints of blood a day to save lives, we are at a shortage, many people are willing to help, but only 38% of all US citizens are eligible. Time for a change. For more information - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blood-is-Blood/312839828818798
