The last comprehensive review of local, state and national law enforcement performed by a Presidential Commission was completed in 1967. The report and its recommendations have been described as "the most comprehensive evaluation of crime and crime control in the United States.”
Our country is well overdue for another blue-ribbon commission to review and recommend changes to our system of justice. We want this commission formed by the President NOW.
