Bobby Wehrli was granted a one semester basketball scholarship to the University of Dayton for his role in lifting UD into contention in the Atlantic 10 conference on a team that was reduced to a mere six scholarship players.
Dayton's coach, the esteemed Archie Miller, has already stated that Bobby Wehrli will not be receiving a scholarship next year. But this injustice must be redressed.
In light of Bobby Wehrli's determined play, ability to hit banked in three point shots and accomplishments over the 2014-2015 basketball season, he should be afforded a full scholarship for the remainder of his college elegability.
We request that the Obama administration formally petition the University of Daytona to place Mr. Wehrli on full basketball scholarship henceforth.
