We petition the Obama administration to bolster the budget for the Department of Labor in order to better fund programs that benefit recent High school graduates and young adults without skills, work, or prospects. In particular focus are programs such as the Job Corps, which recently lost funding. Such programs train young adults in order to provide them with education and marketable skills.
There is no need to borrow more money, but could be taken from other budgets, such as the inflated military budget.
