First and foremost I ask that you complete your reading of this petition before passing judgement on it's behalf.
The Humboldt penguin, native to South American countries of Peru and Chile, has recently been added to the endangered species list.
The United States government shall provide one (1) Humboldt penguin to every qualified family in the United States for safe keeping until which point it can breed.
Also, this is a spoof. I create this petition as an experiment to see how valid a petition must be to aquire signitures. This is meant to bring light to the actual severity of the "secession from the union" petitions. My goal is to receive enough to prove that an issue does not need relevance or legitimate cause to receive signatures. Thank you.
