North Korea is an oppressive regime intent on acquiring nuclear weapons capability and on the list of state sponsors of terrorism. On March 11th, 2013 North Korea cancelled the cease fire armistice agreement in the Korean war, leaving no political agreement or roadblock for them to resume hostilities at any given time. A nuclear armed North Korea is also very destabilizing to other nearby countries, incentivizing an asian nuclear arms race.
North Korea is close to re-activating the plant which will be able to produce enough plutonium for one warhead per year. The time to act to retard the DPRK's nuclear capability is now.
