We petition the Obama Administration to:
¤ DECLARE that the human rights violations in Russia is a serious problem that will not be tolerated by the international community.
¤ RECOGNIZE that Russia is an authoritarian government and that the 2014 Olympics will be just as propaganda ridden as the 1936 Olympics.
¤ BOYCOTT the 2014 Olympics unless Russia improve the working conditions on the Olympic site.
Russia was classified as Authoritarian on the Democracy Index as created by the Economist Intelligence Unit in 2012.
Its terror policy on issues like gay rights have been borderline facist, and the fact that 40.000 (slave) labor workers on the olympic site alone have not recieved pay for their labor.
The Russian government is filled with corruption and we will not stand by it!
