Russia has recently enacted laws making it illegal to be homosexual. As athletes from around the world descend on Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympics, this could put many of our athletes and their families at risk for arrest and detention. This is a gross violation of human and civil rights for both foreign tourists and for Russian citizens. We demand a boycott of these games unless the Russian government changes course.
