Boycott Russian Olympics over numerous Human Rights violations by Putin's regime

Created by A.N. on July 18, 2013

Mr. President. Herewith we express outrage at antihuman, antidemocratic, homophobic policies and politically motivated court cases by Vladimir Putin's regime, most importantly:
Arrest, death and posthumous prosecution of Sergei Magnitsky; 2-year jail term for Pussy Riot members for an anti-Putin song in church; adoption ban for Americans, depriving orphans of hopes for a better life; a series of anti-gay laws; politically motivated criminal prosecution of 27 random protesters from Bolotnaya demonstration (May 6, 12); 5-year conviction of most prominent Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny in a political staged case.

We urge the US government to take a stand for Human Rights and protest against Russia's continuous grievous violations by boycotting 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
