Russia is engaging in passing discriminatory laws against its LGBT community, and regularly ignores and fails to prosecute violent acts against these individuals. Russia wants to suspend their anti-gay laws just long enough to allow all of the worlds winter athletes to come there and compete. However, this will no doubt generate millions of revenue for their government, which will no doubt turn around and use some of those funds to continue to press and enforce their attacks on equality for all their citizens and against human rights. We should not reward their aggressive hate laws by sending our athletes and citizens there to fund these policies. Please sign if you agree.
