I would like to ask if the FCC could act in the interests of the general public and finally ban the unfair monopolies that ISP's have on our cities and open up all of our broadband networks to competition from any company that would like to provide alternatives to what we have now. The internet needs to be treated like a utility that is more and more becoming a very necessary tool in the lives of the entire populace and businesses alike. We often only have a choice between two ISP's even in large cities, the cable company, or the phone company. Hardly a bevy of choices. And I think that is a large part of why the USA only ranks at #29 in the world for internet speeds. Add to that that we have some of the most expensive internet to boot and you can quite clearly see that we are being robbed
