Marriage should be equal for all. This petition aims to make that a reality. It is currently against the law for consenting adults to be legally married if there is more than one spouse, this goes against the very definition of equality. Why should marriage be limited to only one spouse, when there's ample evidence that roughly 90% of all currently illegal polygamous marriages are fin and that those who take part in them consent to it. As evidence I point to the popular TV show Sister-wives.
