We call upon the US government and its armed forces, in partnership with those of all other humanitarian governments of the world, to immediately take all necessary steps to permanently halt the bombing, gassing and daily carnage being inflicted upon the 250 thousand civilian residents of the Syrian city of Aleppo and to facilitate the safe passage of UN shipments of food and medicine to them.
