Bring all the troops home except for those guarding Embassies. We have had troops overseas since the end of WWII occupying land that we captured or isn't ours. We can't afford this any more. Bringing home the troops would also bring home the families. If ever war broke out again we can always send them back with the fast aircraft and shipping that we have. We did this for WWII and it was quite successful. If you don't know what to do with all the troops when they come home - send them to guard the border with Mexico to keep the foreigners out of our Country.
