Bring attention to unequal wages.

This petition wishes to bring attention to the current unequal pay in today’s society regarding gender. In order to change this, there should be a restructuring of the 19th century work model which is outdated and mostly centered on men. This could occur with the offering of day care on a work site, changing of default office rules, and shifting of the societal view that stay at home dads are weak and feeble. Prohibiting gender related wage inequalities as well as workplace policies forbidding employees from discussing their wages with one another, may also minimize the wage gap. However, in order for things to improve, there must first be equal wages implemented in the White House which serves as a role model to the United States.
