Our Nation's logistics infrastructure and public utilities are in a sorry state of disrepair and neglect. This is an embarrassment as Europe and Asia surpass us in quality roads, safe bridges, high speed rail, quality shipping ports, air traffic control networks, and well regulated shipping lanes. Additionally, our Nation's public utilities systems providing clean water, electricity, natural gas and telecommunications is slipping to second and third world levels of reliability and efficiency. Bring back the Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration to employ our people, strengthen our infrastructure, clean and beautify out public spaces, strengthen our economy, and rebuild the foundation to dominate the world in quality of life and efficiency in global commerce.
