Many of today's high school students are graduating high school without a basic, fundamental understanding of Banking, Financing, and how to budget. Our kids need to understand how to open a checking account, balance that checking account, understanding bank terms, how loans work, what a credit history is and how it affects their purchasing power, how a credit card works, etc. Without this vital information, they are easy targets for predatory banking practices. We need Consumer Sciences back in schools so our kids can have a strong future!
