Oklahoma is one of the few states that does not require a vehicle to undergo emissions inspection. Oklahoma has also recently shot up from 29th to 8th on the list of the nation's worst cities for asthma as of December 2012. Asthma of course is just one of the factors that is exacerbated by emissions. Aside from negatively impacting health, who wants to drive behind a vehicle spewing out foul-smelling clouds? They obstruct our view of the road and further distract us from the task of driving. Oklahoma is a beautiful state, let's not dirty the air up anymore just because we don't want to take our cars to be inspected once a year.
