Bring Back the Fairness Doctrine, Or Push For New Media Accuracy Laws

Created by T.W. on November 10, 2013

Nothing affects the United States more than the quality of the news its citizens receive, whether by Newspaper, Television, or Websites. It is of utmost importance for a population to stay well-informed if they are to make important political decisions, like voting for a candidate or on a law.

In many ways, the Mainstream Media of both TV and Print has entered the gutter. Creeping bias and under-regulated corporate, for-profit media have seemingly decayed bastions for accurate reporting, like CBS' 60 Minutes, into little more than inaccurate tabloids aimed at manipulating audiences with inaccurate sources like Dylan Davies. There are a plethora of examples of the extent of the decay of accurate journalism.

We the people petition the Obama Administration to attempt to reverse this decay.
