As this election cycle has shown everyone in the world, the U.S. media is broken as the "4th" branch. Unbiased reporting by "journalists" is basically non-existent in any recognizable form. All journalists became "editors" it seems, without adhering to basic journalistic integrity.
All editorial opinions should be annotated in some form by the journalist whom is reporting - on the outset of any story - if there is editorial content within the story. Period. This should start with FCC licensed broadcast networks. Print and other media (to include cable news networks and their official websites) should follow the same suit in short order, but that will be another petition.
