Joss Whedon's cult classic television show "Firefly" inspired, amused, entertained and enlightened a generation of unwashed, socially inept Americans. Despite this impressive feat, however, the original series was viciously cut short by the Fox network. The franchise enjoyed a brief resurgence in the form of a well-received film sequel titled "Serenity". Fans have been eagerly anticipating additional content for some time now, but their hopes have come to naught but ash and tears. I am actually typing this petition from the fetal position.
