Electoral fusion was a huge part of our system before this century, it allowed 3rd parties to gain noteriety and endorse candidates being run by the major 2 parties. (Wikipedia it!) In this way a 3rd party could run on a single platform that the established candidate would be accountable to enact upon election. More and more it seems like we have 2 choices that lead to the same outcome in elections.
By repealing the acts taken by established parties timmons vs the new party we could have a way of voicing our dissent in government giving us a true choice instead of voting for the lesser of two evils or throwing our vote away with an ever changing list of 3rd party candidates.
If its a politicians job to sell himself to voters then what happens to democracy when 2 groups have a monopoly
