Bring Back Home Economics and Driving Classes to High School!

Created by A.B. on March 09, 2014

Back when my grandma was in school, Home Economics and Driving Classes were available as electives, and women were encouraged to take Home Econ. However, because of America's ever-changing society, that has been removed. I'm not sure about others, but I don't have a lot of time once you take away school, work, extracurricular actives, food, and sleep. Plus, my driver's permit that I got in October has only been put into use for 10 minutes since then. I'm not sure about other states, but for AZ, you need 20 daytime and 10 nighttime hours of driving to even begin to get your license. And as for Home Econ, there are still stuff you're going to have to do, whether you like it or not. In college, you do your own laundry. You may have to sew for school projects. We need these classes back! ASAP!
