Bring back Prayer in Public Schools

Created by L.K. on August 24, 2016

I feel, if prayer is allowed in schools, it will cut down on violence, bullying, teen pregnancy, school shootings, drug abuse, and help with the overall behavior in children; in school and outside of school. What happened to freedom of religion? I realize there are several different religious beliefs in our diverse country. As a mother, I have raised my children to believe in Christianity. However, I believe that all religions and spiritual beliefs should be respected. My goal is to be able to have an option for parents and children that do want to pray. If, for some reason a family doesn't believe in God or a higher power, they should have the right to not let their children participate in prayer. It's all in how we want to raise our children!
