There are few things more emblematic of the GREATNESS that is the Baltimore Ravens than the enormous midfield shield of death at M&T Bank Stadium. Many opponents have wandered into the midfield minefield, only to be swallowed by a vicious hit by Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, or C.J. Mosley. Even ESPN has recognized the power of the shield, once chronicling its impact with Chris Berman's twilight zone comparison. Now, after years of intimidation, the Ravens have introduced a new, and far less intimidating, midfield logo upon their change to a grass field in 2016. The administration must combat this travesty and bring back the shield!
