The space industry has brought to life the imagination of many; in a time filled with desperate people and an uninspired world, space should bring life again.
We need to make space exploration (not necessarily manned) viable and important again. It is essential to our identity as human beings that we stretch beyond our comfort zones, that we reach toward so-called impossibilities. It is only then that we fulfill our calling.
1. Space exploration is important to the creative potential of humanity.
2. If our imaginations take flight, our potential is unlimited.
3. The more we learn about the universe around us, the better perspective we gain on our own world.
Therefore, I urge The President to reduce cuts on space exploration (to bring it back) for the benefit of our country.
