We understand that the space shuttle was cost ineffective, fragile, and complicated, but I for one want it back.
The space shuttle was the "mascot" for the NASA space program for over 30 years. Most people over 18 can remember the excitement of watching CNN when the space shuttle took off again. most people over 40 can remember when the space shuttle program really started going in the early 1980s. What my hope with this petition is, is that me and my children can remember seeing the space shuttle live on television, and not reading about it in a textbook somewhere.
