Bring back the World's Fair

Having a big World's Fair every four years lasting for a year is a great way to bring people together, spur innovation and create great things (Eiffel Tower, Seattle Space Needle). The cost would obviously be very high but an increase in tourism and an influx of money spent on public places would make it very beneficial for all the cities involved. We live in a world with a lot of ignorance and distrust of people from other cultures. Having an event that would allow millions of people to come into contact with people and things different from themselves, not in competition but in unity, would help to shine a light on the common goal that most humans have in wanting to make the world a better place for future generations.
