Colonel, a military working dog, was taken as a prisoner of war during a lengthy firefight in afghanistan. There was some initial confusion as to whether Colonel was British or American. But it stands to reason that whether Colonel is British or American, he needs to be brought home!
Military working dogs make valuable contributions to the health and safety of soldiers worldwide. They not only detect weapons or drugs, but they provide valuable companionship to soldiers during difficult and lengthy deployments! Colonel is an asset to his team.
A soldier is a soldier, whether it has two legs or four! And we do not leave our soldiers behind. Ever. Please, President Obama, do whatever it takes to bring Colonel home!
