The Second Amendment was plain in its language to guarantee that we, the People, should be able to defend ourselves against a tyrannical government. History has shown us that removing the ability of a population to protect themselves leads to populations being controlled and ruled by despots.
Anyone who wishes to take away our rights as mentioned in the Bill of Rights can not possibly have our best interests, as a Nation and as a People in mind, but instead to control and subjugate. The only thing guaranteeing our First Amendment rights is our Second Amendment.
So I say, if anyone wishes to take away our rights as defined in our Constitution, then they are nothing but a traitor, and should be treated and tried as such.
