The Chris Gethard Show (TCGS) began as a stage show at the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2009. It quickly gained a cult following and a reputation for pulling off some bizarre stunts. In June of 2011, TCGS left the world of underground comedy and entered the world of underground television, debuting on New York’s premiere public access station, the Manhattan Neighborhood Network. Since it's television debut, TCGS has grown to become the center of an active and unique online and real world community, involving people from around the world.
The fans of TCGS believe it is about time for Chris Gethard and the rest of the cast to reap the benefits of their hard work. We ask that the government helps TCGS be broadcast on mainstream television for everyone to enjoy.
