Saturday Night Live (SNL) used to be about comedy, which centered on making people laugh for no other reason besides the 'love of comedy.'
Comedians were never supposed to be mouthpieces for public policy and social awareness campaigns. We're not saying to stop joking about politics or social issues - but we're asking that you stop advocating for one side over another. If you're so emotionally attached to an idea or issue that you can't see the humor in both sides, maybe you shouldn't be joking about it because you're going to piss people off. It's bad business.
Therefore, we demand to bring comedy back to SNL and the rest of late night comedy shows by dropping the political correctness, voices of change crap and return to the glory days of UNBIASED comedy.
