Bring before Congress a proposed 28th Amendment that would limit the terms of US presidents to one 4-year term.

As our history has shown, presidents who have been elected to a second term have found great difficulty and increased partisan opposition to their agendas, creating what many have called "lame duck presidencies". The high cost of running election campaigns and the added stress on the health of those in the highest office in the land necessitate that changes need to be made for the good of the people. A great deal can be accomplished in 4 years, and I think far more bipartisan cooperation can be expected if political parties know that a true election will occur every 4 years, and I think that it will make the decision to select a viable vice president far more important for a presidential candidate. Better vetting of candidates can be expected and more qualified candidates will result.
