The primary focus of a Congressman or Senator has became more on advancing the party than the country. It is obvious to the average citizen that once elected, our officials o longer feel a need to serve the people, but serve themselves and their party. Term limits must be imposed, and pay scale and retirement "entitlements" must be pro-rated proportionately to length of service.
